Since 1993, Ars Brevis Press has specialized in both traditional and conventional technologies to produce exquisite printed matter, including books, broadsides, invitations, business cards, greeting cards, and other communications to announce or celebrate special occasions. Sometimes we do it just for fun.

Learn the craft of letterpress printing in this five-hour hands-on workshop instructed by Katie Harper of Ars Brevis Press. Katie will guide you through the basics of typesetting, ink mixing, and printing on a platen or cylinder press.
Projects that would work well for this workshop include holiday cards or other greeting cards; notecards; or small to medium broadsides (small posters).
No experience is necessary. Paper for small poster or a 5x7 folded card with envelope will be provided. *Bring ideas, quotes, and of course, a sack lunch!
Fee:$75
Those who wish to use old fashioned letterpress “cuts” (images) can certainly do so. My supply is limited, but I’ll be happy to send you pictures of what I have.
